SpaceTi® Aerospace Titanium
TC4 Titanium Alloy, with a titanium content of 90%, is highly valued in the aerospace and spacecraft industries due to its exceptional physical and chemical properties, earning it the title of "aerospace titanium." Renowned for its excellent bio-compatibility, aerospace titanium is one of the most commonly used materials for human implants. As a non-magnetic material, it does not interfere with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Among the metals commonly used in dentistry, aerospace titanium stands out for its superior yield strength, ensuring that dental prosthetics retain their shape under stress and maintain stability over extended periods of use. Compared to cobalt-chromium alloys, aerospace titanium is approximately 50% lighter and offers a yield strength that is about 200 MPa higher. In comparison to pure titanium, aerospace titanium has a yield strength that is roughly 500 MPa higher. Its surface is bright and offers greater options for color customization.
New Future 3D Technology employs advanced metal printing and heat treatment technologies to ensure the Space Ti series aerospace titanium alloy achieves a yield strength exceeding 900 MPa and an elongation after fracture of over 8%. This ensures it meets the highest current standards for the mechanical performance of dental restorations.
SpaceTi® Aerospace Titanium VS Cobalt-Chromium Alloy
-
Superior Biocompatibility and Corrosion ResistanceOffers exceptional material properties for dental implants, ensuring optimal integration with the body and enhanced longevity.
-
Lightweight and Low DensityHalf the weight of cobalt-chromium alloy, providing greater comfort for patients and easier wear of prosthetics.
-
Non-Magnetic PropertiesAs a non-magnetic metal, titanium does not interfere with MRI scans, ensuring convenience for patients undergoing imaging procedures.
-
High strength and anti-deformationIt has high strength, preventing denture deformation and ensuring long-term stability in use.
-
Aesthetic and Bright Surface FinishTitanium provides a brilliant and visually appealing surface, enhancing the overall aesthetic of dental restorations.
-
Stable ceramic-metal bondingFor fixed porcelain restorations, the bonding between ceramic and metal is stable, with no risk of porcelain chipping.
-
Stable Porcelain-Metal BondingEnsures a strong and durable bond with porcelain for fixed restorations, such as porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns, minimizing the risk of ceramic chipping or cracking.
SpaceTi® Aerospace Titanium VS Pure Titanium
-
Substantially Higher Yield StrengthSpaceTi boasts a yield strength that is approximately 500 MPa higher than pure titanium, ensuring much greater long-term stability and durability for removable dentures.
-
Enhanced Surface Brightness and Color VersatilityCompared to pure titanium, SpaceTi offers a brighter surface and provides a wider range of color customization options, enhancing the aesthetic appeal.
